Island View Cottages
Island View Cottages are the only remaining cottages located on beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City, Michigan. Set on 132 feet of private sandy beach, IVC is less than 1 mile from downtown Traverse City, 1/4 mile from the Hagerty Conference Center and less than 1/2 mile from the West Bay Beach Holiday Inn Resort and the base of Old Mission Peninsula.
Our cottages, Beach House, Carriage House and Colonial House represent a nostalgic return to Traverse City. View pictures of our various cottages.
Open from early May – November 1st. All units are fully equipped with kitchenettes, air conditioning, outdoor grills, picnic tables, t.v.’s, and come completely furnished. Bonfire pits and wood are also available on the property.
Some of the amenities available at IVC include a shuffleboard court, parking lot basketball court and a Little Tykes play center located on the beach. Just a short walk down the beach, jet ski, boat and stand-up-paddle boards are available to rent. The TART trail is about a 1/2 mile away and bike and kayaks can be rented within 1 mile of us.
